The Science Center with Jesse & Josie!

This Saturday, I had the pleasure of joining Jesse and Josie on a trip to California Science Center! We had so much fun learning about ecosystems, polar ice caps, and life underwater! We saw huge jellyfish, leopard-print sharks, and a school of sardines swam over our heads! It was awesome!!

Josie and Jesse had so much fun gardening. Jesse even found a green beetle! It wasn’t real, but it sure looked real! They were perfect children. I sure enjoyed having lunch with you and your Mom & Dad. I’m pepperoni serious! (That was so funny, Jesse!)

Thank you for such a relaxing day, kids. Your Aunt Liddy loves you!!!

Josie & Jesse

I first met Josie and Jesse when they were babies. They were born at the same time, and are boy and girl - making them fraternal twins!

Their mother, Rebecca, has been a good friend of mine for many years, so it's exciting to finally get to know her children. When I stop by for a visit, they always run up to me with lots of great hugs! I love them so much!

We play at the playground on the beach a lot, since they live so close by. Josie loves to swing high! And they both love to slide. Today they did cartwheels! They were rolling all over the grass and making me laugh. We had so much fun.

Josie loves corn! And Jesse is a big fan of fruit. They eat lots of blueberries and strawberries. When I visit and it's time to eat, Josie usually sits on my lap at the dinner table. That always puts a smile on my face.

Tonight I read them Ladybug Girl, by David Soman & Jacky Davis. We loved Ladybug Girl’s bravery!!! Josie named all the costumes Ladybug Girl likes to wear in the front and the back of the book. So cool!!

Jesse also likes Green Eggs and Ham, by Dr. Seuss.
